“Montecastillo” has truly become an international business and sport
center. It has the following installations.
The five-Star Hotel was inaugurated in 1992. It has
121 luxury rooms and 20 villas. Apart from being perfectly furnished, all of
them are decorated with a welcoming Andalusian style.
Success at business development of “Montecastillo” is largely due
to the attraction of great events, such as car launches and presentations of
products related to the motor world.
Apart from the hotel complex, these operations have an excellent connection with
Formula 1 Speed-way Track, tourist routes tests and tourist and cultural offer
of surroundings.
Rover 75 launch brought to Jerez more than 11.000 people coming from the whole
world. BMW brought 4.000 international journalists and many important enterprises
have developed sports events, international conventions, relax programs and so
on…
Most market is national and it is followed by both German and English markets.
Thanks to this positive career for last years and coinciding with the celebration
of World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera in September 2002, “Montecastillo” has
inaugurated a Business Center at an independent building with 49 rooms and 18
additional rooms. They are distributed in villas, a reception, restaurant , café and
so on…
There are also exhibition halls, congresses, presentations and banquets with
a capacity of 450 people…
Field is located in an area covering 160 hectares, with native flora and fauna.
Environment is preserved for golfers to enjoy an incomparable round.
Since 1997,year of the first Volvo Masters, “Montecastillo” has implemented
a technique and aesthetic renovation program for the field.
From one to two million euro a year have been inverted in centenary olives plantation,
drainage system , machinery, and so on…
In 2000, it was built two football fields with international set measurements
and a field for training. They were designed under advice of Manchester United
and Football English Association.
All this was completed with changing rooms, a jogging track surrounding fields
with the aim of improving physical exercise, a tennis court, a sport center court
and four illuminated paddleball courts.
The aim of this inversion (220 million pesetas)has been to accommodate European
teams of 1st division for their winter rests and preseason.
Teams like Spanish national team, brought together last May before Korea World
Cup, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, world champion in 1997, have already
realized the quality of these sports facilities. They have internationally recommended
us.
In November 2000, it was opened Active Health Center, “Montecastillo SPA” to
the public. This joins sports offer at the hotel complex.
It has an indoor heated swimming-pool, jaccuzi, steamed sauna and dry sauna,
gymnasium, massage rooms and treatments center.
This spa is devoted not only to guests who have free access to all the facilities,
but also to specific customers for hydrotherapy sessions and treatments.
There is also a bonus program at the disposition of hotel guests.
This center is supervised by specialized professionals in sports medicine and
aesthetic physiotherapy. Among other services, they use the latest technology
in massages, hydrotherapy, laser, electro, ultrasound, beauty treatments or vichy
shower.
It is currently the unique center of these characteristics in occidental Andalusia.

is Colony Capital with headquarters in Los Angeles.
Colony is one of the five main investors in the world and it has many properties
